I filmed my very first wedding on July 29, 2012 at the age of 17. It’s been 13 years since and I’ve grown so much. My style has evolved and my approach has been refined, but one thing has remained true - my love for documentary storytelling. This digital medium is a tool for remembering and that is the most important part of what I do.
I specialize in creating documentary-style wedding photography and cinematic films that encapsulates the authentic essence of each couple's journey. Every union is a unique narrative and I am dedicated to preserving the cherished memories that define your love story.

Leading up to your wedding day, I’ll work closely with you to plan out the details - from creating a timeline that flows smoothly, to recommending the best locations for photos and video, and making sure we capture the moments that matter most to you. Think of me as both your storyteller and your guide, helping to ensure the day feels effortless while still covering everything that’s important.
PLANNING & PREPARATION
On your wedding day, you can expect us to be there from start to finish, capturing every moment as it naturally unfolds. From the quiet details while you get ready, to the walk down the aisle and the exchange of vows, we’ll be in the right places without ever pulling you out of the moment. During the celebration, we’ll highlight the energy and joy - your first dance, heartfelt speeches, laughter, and all the love shared with your guests. Throughout the day, we’ll guide you when needed so you feel comfortable and confident, while making sure every detail is preserved for you to relive for years to come.
THE BIG DAY
After your wedding, I carefully sort through all the footage, selecting the best moments from your day. The editing process, which takes about 3-4 months, involves meticulously enhancing the quality of photos and videos, crafting a unique narrative that reflects your story. I spend countless hours reviewing every detail, selecting the perfect music, coloring each shot and weaving everything together into a cohesive film that resonates emotionally. Once the editing is complete, I’ll deliver the final product via an online gallery. Throughout this process, my goal is to create a film that brings you immense joy.

Troy and I hired Shaneika when we decided to renew our vows for our 10 year wedding anniversary in Kauai. I decided I REALLY wanted a video as we never got one for our wedding day. WOW what a treat it was. The video is breathtaking and everything we wanted and more. I also asked Shaneika if she would include a few photos as our families were all coming from Canada to meet us in Hawaii, she captured us perfectly and they are all so special to look back at. Shaneika's talent speaks for itself but what you can't see from the photos / videos is how amazingly sweet she is. SO accommodating and kind. I would HIGHLY recommend her!!
